The Acrobat
Winches/Reels
Depending on budget constraints and the type of towing activity, the use of a Reel with sliprings or a winch may be needed.
The reel provides a good way to store and use the tow cable when power, boat size, and limited cable length deployed make the use of a winch problematic.
Electric winches are justified when cable deployed exceeds 50m and payloads are large and heavy.
